I walked into the Sun.
The skin of my face slowly thawed
and began to swim with warmth and
life. My chest swelled as my legs worked.
I walked into the Sun.
And my every trouble fell by the way
behind me. Goodness beckoned.
I walked into the Sun.
My lips parched and my eyes
ran. I squinted and wrinkled my
nose at the smell of scorch.
When you walk into the Sun,
you are consumed by the fire-
But what do you become?
